Congrats to Brent Miles, who has published a new volume on Don Tres Troí: The Middle Irish History of the Third Troy.
From the publisher:
"Don Tres Troí ‘On the Third Troy’ comes at the conclusion of what can tentatively be called a Trojan 'cycle' in Middle Irish and describes the refoundation of Troy after its destruction at the hands of the Greeks. The text traces the city's history until it is destroyed again in the Roman era. Don Tres Troí is the result of a very original historical inquiry into the question of what became of Troy following the war immortalised in Homer's Iliad."
The Irish Texts Society recently released the book and held a virtual launch on Nov. 6.
