Areas of Interest
My research focuses primarily on the economic, social, and material histories of the later-medieval world, with an emphasis on England, c. 1200–1500.
My primary interests are in testamentary practice (wills and testaments, inventories, and probate); commerce (mercantile networks, credit and finance, import and export commodities); and material culture and manuscripts (patronage and provenance). Forthcoming material explores some of these themes and areas within the context of fourteenth-century London.
