As of September 1, 2021, new students will no longer be enrolled in the Collaborative Specialization (olim Programme) in Editing Ancient and Medieval Texts.
The Specialization has been seen through the closure process with the Faculty of Arts & Science (effective August 31, 2021). The rationale for this is not that textual editing is no longer an academic priority for CMS, but that faculty resources are more effectively deployed in the teaching and supervision of students dedicated to that very part of our traditional core curriculum.
Students who are currently enrolled but have not fulfilled its requirements, notably the editorial project, should contact the Specialization Director, Prof. Alexander Andrée (alexander.andree@utoronto.ca), to discuss options for completion.
