Hannah Kirby Wood awarded SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship

Congratulations to Alum Hannah Kirby Wood, who was awarded a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship for a project entitled “Arbiters of Charity: Courts of Law and the Female Poor in Late Medieval and Early Tudor England,” to be hosted by the University of Saskatchewan. Currently a Lecturer at St Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan, Hannah successfully defended a dissertation entitled "Intersections of Voluntary and Involuntary Poverty:The Friars and the Lay Indigent in Late Medieval England, 1221–c.1430" at CMS in October, 2021.
